PRESS: 07/16/2020: Germany's tradespeople can be relied upon. They saw, hammer, bake, or repair 24 hours a day and know exactly what they are doing – for themselves and for their customers. On the occasion of the 10th Day of Trades on September 19, 2020, this will be made visible on handwerk.de with a unique video project. The 24-hour video project provides insight into the day of tradeswomen and tradesmen. From sunrise on the crane, to the finishing touches on a prosthesis, to a repair job at night.
Join now and become part of a unique community campaign
All craftspeople are invited to become part of this great community campaign with a short mobile phone video. Videos from everyday craft life at any time of day or night are welcome. They can be uploaded to handwerk.de/tdh2020 until September 6th.
The submitted videos will be published on handwerk.de on September 19th, along with a brief explanation of the activity performed. Visitors can navigate through the day using a digital clock and view the corresponding videos.

How should the videos be created?
Mobile videos are perfect as long as the picture and sound quality are right. Portrait or landscape format are not decisive.
How long should the videos be?
Each clip should be between 20 and 60 seconds long and show a continuous shot. The videos do not need to be edited beforehand.
What should be seen/heard?
One or more work steps. Several videos can also be submitted at different times of the day to document the work progress. You are welcome to explain what is currently being done in the video. Noise or background music should be avoided.
What should not be shown?
Inappropriate statements, negligent situations, or other unsuitable scenes will not be published.
How can the videos be submitted?
Upload videos by September 6th at handwerk.de/tdh2020. There you will also find all the information about the video project again.
The 24-hour video project is a joint initiative on the occasion of the nationwide Day of Trades on September 19, 2020. This year marks the 10th time it has taken place. The aim of the nationwide day of action is to highlight the importance, diversity, and performance of the trades to a broad public.
